About Us

SNAPZ™ Strike Indicators was founded in 2006 by a father and son team of avid fly fishermen. They have always been frustrated by the lack of a good strike indicator in the fly fishing market.

After one especially frustrating day of nymphing in late spring on the Deschutes River in Central Oregon, Tor was fishing a riffle when the indicator he was using would not stay afloat. After fishing for a few hours the same indicator fell apart. Frustrated, Tor set out to design what is now SNAPZ™ Strike Indicators.

SNAPZ™ Strike Indicatorss have been thoroughly tested in the rivers and lakes surrounding Bend, Oregon, a fly fishing paradise that includes blue ribbon waters such as the Deschutes River, Fall River, Crooked River and Metolious River. We invite you to give SNAPZ™ a try. You won't be disappointed.
